The Australian Agribusiness Group (AAG) has its roots dating back to 1989 when Marcus Elgin, the founder of AAG, started consulting to the agribusiness sector. At that stage much of the focus of that business was on debt stressed farm recoveries during a time when the agribusiness sector was going through a lean period. That business was acquired by Arthur Andersen in 1996.
Formed in 1997, the Australian Agribusiness Group has a focus on growth businesses in the agribusiness industry. It was established to meet a need for experienced agribusiness consulting skills in the SME (small and medium sized enterprises) sector.
Since AAG’s inception it has provided specialist advice to a broad range of clients across Australia.
AAG is a leader in providing solutions and information to the high growth SME agribusinesses and those who seek clear direction upon which to build advice and action.
Our progress is not built on theoretical proposals. All our staff are intensely practical and realistic people who understand the realities of doing business in this sector.
The simple philosophy, "Creating Success for Agribusiness" drives us to continue providing advice and outcomes that exceed expectations.
